Beyonce Goes Vegan, Gains a Fab Bod
Beyonce took a leap of faith and transformed the way when and what she eats in line with the Marco Borge’s vegan diet. His book is out and Beyonce is not the only star to have adopted vegan food. She admits that she, being raised a Texan, was always into a lot of meat, sandwiches, BBQ and prime ribs. She began to realize that her poor diet is taking a toll on her health. In retrospect, she has constantly been yo-yo dieting since she became famous. She even went to extremes by consuming nothing except a mixture of water, cayenne pepper, lemon and maple syrup.
The singer says that after she had her daughter, she made a conscious decision to take over the control of her body and set the right example for her child. Beyonce advises everyone to give it a try for only 22 days, and see how they feel afterwards. Her husband Jay Z also tried the vegan diet and was amazed with results.
The 22-Day Revolution Plan was praised by stars like Jennifer Lopez. Beyonce laughs when she remembers the faces of her guests at her husband’s birthday party when all-vegan food was served. Even though some were frowning in the beginning, all of them had a nice time and enjoyed the food.
The philosophy of Borge is easy to follow: “Eat well, love more, move more and stress less.”
